Hamiora-Hei Gerald Bennett, originally from Tauranga City, New Zealand, has been a resident of Dunedin since 2007.

His fascination with sales, markets, business, and opportunities dates back to his early childhood. From trading marbles and cards in his neighbourhood and school playground at the age of six, to initiating his first entrepreneurial venture selling fruit on the roadside during high school, Hamiora-Hei's passion for commerce and enterprise has always been evident.

His academic journey led him to study Economics, initially in high school and later at the University of Otago, where he pursued a double major in Economics and Finance. Despite his academic achievements, he made the bold decision after completing economics to discontinue the rest of his studies during his final year, disillusioned with the traditional education system and finding his interests shifting away from finance.

Driven by an insatiable thirst for knowledge and a deep-seated passion for learning, society, systems, and business, Hamiora-Hei continued to immerse himself in economic trends, financial news, and self-education long after his formal education concluded.

In 2013, he embarked on his entrepreneurial journey, becoming the owner and founder of two successful companies in New Zealand. In January 2023, he launched his third venture, "Blockchain and Money," aiming to serve as a media outlet for disseminating education and insights on money, the economy, bitcoin, and blockchain technology.

Since 2016, Hamiora-Hei has been actively involved in the world of Bitcoin, cryptocurrency, and blockchain. His involvement spans from investments in Bitcoin and ICOs to blogging with peers about the crypto space and participating in the deployment of an NFT. Presently, he shares his expertise by teaching others how to safely buy, store, and utilise cryptocurrencies, along with offering investment strategies for those interested in exploring the realm of Bitcoin and cryptocurrency.
